I am more upset than I have been in a long time. I am having a perfectly good anniversary with my wife, and other than the fact that my brother neglected to get us Rush tickets for the concert tomorrow, everything is great.
I was a bit upset with my brother for not getting the tickets, but I figured that I would catch Rush the next time around. Then I decide to check my school email and I saw an email from one of my students' parents. This was the kid whose dad was in the music business, and he had sent an email a few days ago saying that he understood that I already had tickets, but he could get me in for a meet and greet with the band before the show. Of course, I don't have tickets and I don't get that email until the night before the show. That F--ING SUCKS!!!!

Common Abbreviations and Their Definitions
BW - a shortening of the quote, "Brevity is the soul of Wit", I use this whenever I have more to say on a topic, but doing so just becomes a one-sided rant, so I am just stopping at that point. I may take up the point later, after someone contributes a point that is valid, or a point that needs countering, but for the time being, it stops where the BW is, so that I don't get excessively boring or one-sided (common online sins).
nCr - short for neo-Conservative-rant (also the mathematical notation for the number of combinations for a given number of sets with a given number of elements, I couldn't resist the pun), just a little warning to my liberal friends who may want to avoid the infuriating content to follow, or to steel themselves against the inevitable cognitive dissonance that will follow the exposure to "conservative" philosophy. In actuality, I consider myself a liberal in the truest sense, I am willing to listen to and evaluate an argument in opposition to mine and modify my opinion based on good information, or attempt to persuade in the case of less than relevant information.
GE - short for Grammatical Error. It means that I know there was a grammatical error in the previous sentence, and that there will be more forthcoming. I leave them in either for emphasis, comic relief, or colloquialistic readability. I also persist in using the genderless plural pronouns they and their - I don't know why, but the gender neutral aspect sounds better in certain discussions even though it is grammatically incorrect.
CW - short for Circuitous Wandering. The following passages may have only tenuous links to one another, but they fit the spider-webbing connections that are my fertile (or was that foetid) mind. Just be aware that there may not be a consistent theme, and I am just wandering the dank corridors of my mind, and you are invited to join that sometimes less than pleasant course.
